Two New Living Stones

What an incredible winter day it was! There in the Judean Hills outside of Jerusalem, not far from where King David had placed the Ark as he endeavored to bring the very dwelling place of God up to Jerusalem, another small but devoted group of men and women gathered.
Like David, our heart’s desire was also to bring the Glory of God up to the City of the King, though this time not in an ark built of wood and gold but rather by raising up the glorious, living Body of Messiah.
The essence of that glorious body that God desires to establish in Jerusalem (and in every other city and town throughout the earth) is comprised of “living stones,” each joined together in eternal bonds of love and relationship.
So on that clear and crisp Jerusalem morning, we were not concerned with physical building materials but rather with the two new Israeli believers who had come to be immersed in the name of Yeshua.

David achieved his goal and purpose when the ark that he so loved found its resting place in Jerusalem. It is our prayer and hope that through these two young Israeli men and many others like them, the light and presence of God will once again fill the city of Jerusalem. May that day be soon.
This vintage post from February 2010 serves to remind us what our core mission is all about – bringing new believers into the Body of Yeshua and declaring Yeshua as the Jewish Messiah!
