"A Time to Gather, A Time to Build Up"

Psalm for Meditation

There is a gathering, a gathering of spirit and of material. There is a season of gathering, a time of gathering. The time of gathering is the time of restoration.

Ecclesiastes 3:5 - There is a time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together.

There are natural stones and spiritual stones.

There is a time to gather the outcasts of Israel.

Jeremiah 31:10 – Hear the word of YHVH, O Gentile nations; declare in the isles far away, and say, "He who scattered Israel will gather him, and keep him as a shepherd keeps his flock."

The gathering of Israel is both natural and spiritual, Israel and the Ekklesia.

The gathering happens at the time of the building up of Jerusalem.

Psalm 147:2 – YHVH builds up Jerusalem, He gathers together the outcasts of Israel.

Now Jerusalem is being built up. This is the time to favor Zion.

Psalm 102:13-16 - You will arise and have mercy on Zion; for the time to favor her, yea, the set time, has come. For Your servants take pleasure in her stones and show favor to her dust … for the Lord shall build up Zion; He shall appear in His glory.

The gathering-in is concurrent with the building up. Now God is gathering the people of Israel both physically and spiritually. The gathering-in also unites. Heaven and earth are being united increasingly (Ephesians 1:10).

Yeshua is standing above us between heaven and earth, over Jerusalem. His hand is outstretched (I Chronicles 21:16).

All creation was measured in the palm of his hand (Isaiah 40:12, 48:13). That hand released the creation. That hand is collecting it back together. God is gathering all things, restoring all things (Acts 3:21). The time to restore the kingdom to Israel is at hand (Acts 1:6).

It is like the pieces of a puzzle. All has been scattered. But now the pieces are approaching one another, ready to be attached. We still cannot see the whole picture. While the pieces are separate, nothing is understood. The picture is not seen. But now the plan and the purpose are becoming clear. The beauty in the picture emerges.

All things are being gathered. The stake in a faithful place has been set (Isaiah 22:23). The alignment coordinates are ready. The plumbline over Jerusalem has been hung (Amos 7:7). It's like a lightning rod. The Spirit of the Lord is blowing. We pray and prophesy, "Spirit, come and blow" (Ezekiel 37:9).

The stones of the Temple will be gathered. The living stones of the living Temple will be gathered. When Israel missed the time of her visitation, not one stone was left standing on another (Matthew 24:2). But now at the time of restoration, not one stone will be left unplaced.

Everything is being gathered. The good things and the bad. The showdown is at hand. All the forces of evil will come to attack Jerusalem for the final confrontation (Zechariah 14:2). The vultures will come to where the body is (Matthew 24:18). They come from the four corners of the earth.

There is a gathering happening, and the glory of the LORD will be seen.
