GET UP... AND GO

Tikkun Global

Jerusalem, Israel

Throughout Scripture, God calls people to get up and go.

In Genesis 12:1, the Lord tells Abraham, “Go from your country, your people and your father’s household to the land I will show you.” Abraham was called to leave what was familiar and go to a land God would show him. Moses was sent back to Egypt. The prophets were called to rise, speak, and obey. The disciples were told to go into all the world, becoming witnesses “in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth” (Acts 1:8).

Again and again, the pattern is the same: God calls, and His people respond.

That pattern is also woven into the story of Tikkun Global.

Each of our founders has a “get up and go” story of his own. Asher Intrater, Dan Juster, and Eitan Shishkoff each came to a moment when following the Lord meant leaving something familiar behind and stepping into something new. For each of them, that calling ultimately led to Israel.

They got up. They went. And through their obedience, they became part of a much bigger story, the story of Tikkun Global and the “restoration of all things” spoken of in Acts 3:21: the restoration of Israel, the strengthening of the global Ecclesia, and preparation for the return of Yeshua.

But the call did not end simply with coming to Israel. There were new moments of obedience along the way. For Tikkun Global, one of those moments came when the Lord called us to get up and go to Jerusalem, moving from Yad HaShmona in Judea into the city. The pattern continued: hear the call, rise, and go where the Lord is leading.

As we have prayed and looked toward the months ahead, “GET UP... AND GO” is the theme the Lord has placed on our hearts for this coming season. We believe it is both a reminder of where we have come from and a fresh call to consider where God is leading us now.

There are moments when the Lord calls us not simply to recognize what He is doing, but to rise, respond, and move forward in obedience. We believe this is such a moment.

For Tikkun Global, those words also describe five key expressions of our ministry:

G | GIVING

Using what God has placed in our hands to strengthen people, ministries, and Kingdom initiatives.

E | EQUIPPING

Preparing emerging leaders and believers to carry a message of restoration, unity, and hope.

T | TEACHING

Providing biblical teaching from Jerusalem for Israel, the nations, and the global Body of Messiah.

U | UNITY

Building relationship and reconciliation between Jew and Gentile, Jewish and Arab believers, Israel and the nations.

P | PRAISE, PRAYER & PROPHECY

Worshiping, interceding, listening to the Holy Spirit, and responding to what God is doing in our generation.

These are not simply programs. They are ways we respond to the call of God.

GET UP AND GO.

Maybe your “go” does not mean moving to another country. But we believe God has something He is calling each of us to go do. There is a purpose, an assignment, a step of obedience that He has placed before each of us. Our “go” may look different, but the call is the same: to recognize what God is asking of us, get up, and respond.

For some, that may mean giving generously, praying faithfully, equipping someone else, pursuing greater unity, sharing biblical truth, worshiping boldly, or stepping into a new place of service and obedience.

Every one of us has a part to play.

Our founders had their moment to get up and go.

Now the question is:

What is God asking you to get up and do?
