Prayer Points for a New Year

• Thankfully all but one of the remaining kidnapped hostage bodies have been returned to Israel. Proper burial is extremely important in Judaism so the return of the body of Sergeant Ran Gvili is number one priority. Please pray for his remains to be returned.

  
  

• The second phase of the ceasefire cannot be fully implemented until this occurs. In addition, because of the dangers involved, neutral countries are not willing to send soldiers to Gaza. Please pray for a realistic international peacekeeping force to be formed.

  
  

• Israel sees Turkey as one of the biggest threats to security in the region and is not willing to let them be involved in the rebuilding of Gaza. The US is pushing for their involvement. Please pray for the US to recognize Turkey's underlying motives and to help prevent them from gaining power.

  
  

• Hamas, although weakened, has not given up arms and is regaining control in parts of Gaza. Please pray for Hamas to be fully abolished and disarmed.

  
  

• Life is still bleak for Gazans who have suffered tremendously in this war. Please pray for their living conditions to be improved and for a moderate governing force to be established that will invest in their well being.

  
  

• Our Arab Christian friends who have contacts in the region say there are open doors to discretely share the gospel and that desperation is causing doors to open in their hearts. Please pray for these opportunities to increase and that many seeds will be planted.

  
  

• Unfortunately there has been an increase in attacks on Arabs by extremist Jewish groups, and the government has been slow in prosecuting. Please pray for righteous government practices and that the guilty would be arrested and prosecuted.

  
  

• Antisemitism has catapulted in the world under the guise of the war in Gaza. Please pray for truth to reign over lies especially among Gen Z and in social media. Please pray for voices to arise that are not afraid to stand up to these lies and false narratives.

  
  

• Although Iran's nuclear capabilities were pushed back in this year's war, her ballistic missile program has strengthened and Israel sees this as a significant threat. Please pray for wisdom if Israel should attack again and if so, for support from the US government.

  
  

• Despite two years of war and increasing international rejection, there are signs that Israel's economy is pushing forward and showing growth. Please pray for what was lost to be rebuilt and for Israel to become an economic leader. Thank you for standing with us in prayer.
