Global Prayer Alert

Tikkun Global

Jerusalem, Israel

Dear Tikkun Global Partners and Friends,

It is our privilege to partner with you in praying for His Kingdom to come here in Israel, all over the Middle East (especially Iran!), and throughout the world.

On many fronts, Israel remains in a very critical, sensitive place and time.

The open war with Iran has shifted, but the conflict is not over. Just today (Thursday, July 9th) Iranian missiles are flying all over the Middle East again. In Gaza, Hamas has not been fully dismantled. Hezbollah and other Iranian-backed proxies continue to threaten Israel and the region. At the same time, Israel is facing deep internal pressure over mandatory military service, social division, economic strain, and the future direction of the government.

In all of these areas, our prayers are first and foremost from a scriptural, kingdom perspective. We pray against strongholds of evil that keep millions in bondage and unable to see the truth of the Gospel; we pray for righteous leaders and governments to arise in the Middle East that will allow believers to live in peace and share their faith; we pray that God would arise in Zion and in His church so that His enemies will be confused and scattered; and we pray for all of us to live in such a way as to hasten His coming. (2 Cor 10:4; 1 Tim 2:1-8; Ps 68:1; 2 Pet 3:12)

We are asking you to stand with us in focused prayer for the following:

  • Pray for the dismantling of Hamas. Although Hamas has been weakened, it is refusing to disarm and dismantle. Pray that every remaining terrorist infrastructure, weapons network, tunnel system, and structure of control in Gaza would be exposed and destroyed.

  • Pray for righteous leadership in Gaza. Gaza needs a new governing structure that is not controlled by Hamas or other Islamic extremist groups. Pray for leaders and systems to arise that will truly seek the well-being of the people and not continue terror, corruption, and oppression.

  • Pray for the humanitarian crisis in Gaza. The suffering of civilians remains very serious. Pray for compassion, righteousness, and practical solutions that protect innocent lives without empowering Hamas or other extremist forces.

  • Pray against Iran and its proxies. Iran and its proxies continue to threaten Israel and the region, especially through Hezbollah in Lebanon. In light of the prophetic impression from Jeremiah 49:35, pray that the Lord would break “the bow of Elam,” the chief strength of Iran’s military power, and that every structure of terror, intimidation, and regional domination would be brought down according to God’s purposes.

  • Pray for Israeli soldiers and their families. Many reservists have returned home after long periods of service, but their families are still carrying the effects of war. Pray for healing in marriages and homes, strength for children, emotional restoration for those returning from battle, and grace for families rebuilding normal life after months of separation, trauma, financial pressure, and exhaustion. Pray that many would turn to Yeshua, the One who has taken all of our pain and trauma on the cross, and by whose stripes we are healed. (Isaiah 53:4-6)

  • Pray for the soul of Israeli society. After years of war, division, and international pressure, many are exhausted. Pray against depression, hopelessness, and fear. Pray for comfort, healing, salvation, and a renewed turning toward God.

  • Pray for wisdom regarding military service. The issue of military service for the ultra-Orthodox Jewish community, especially yeshiva students who have historically received exemptions from army service, has become a major source of tension, protests, and political pressure. Pray for wisdom, justice, compassion, and unity as our society seeks a way forward.

  • Pray for justice and righteousness within Israel. Attacks by extremist Jewish groups against Arabs in Judea and Samaria continue. Pray for righteous government practices, equal justice, and the prosecution of those who act wickedly.

  • Pray against the rise of antisemitism in the nations. Antisemitism continues to rise around the world, often under the guise of empathy for the suffering of Palestinians in Gaza and Israel, and “anti-Zionist” calls for the destruction of Israel. Pray for truth to overcome lies in the media, universities, political movements, and social platforms, especially among younger generations. Pray for courageous voices to arise with clarity, compassion, and truth.

  • Pray for Israel’s upcoming elections. Israel’s national elections are currently expected on Tuesday, October 27, 2026. Pray that God would raise up leaders with integrity, courage, humility, and wisdom, and that the people of Israel would be guided by His purposes rather than fear, anger, or political division.

Thank you for continuing to stand with us in prayer during this critical hour.

Your prayers matter. Your partnership matters. Together, we are watching, praying, and believing for God’s purposes to be fulfilled in Israel, the Middle East, and the nations.

With love from Jerusalem, The Tikkun Global Team
