First of all, we want to wish you all a very blessed and Happy New Year! God is so good and no matter what is happening in our lives, we know that God is for us and his love endures forever! So be encouraged and be filled with His love and may our faith be strengthened as we enter this New Year – 2019.
Health Update
The battle continues – but we declare that all things work to the good for all of us who love Yeshua.
Last week I had an MRI scan on my brain. I had been feeling well and my expectation was for a good report. The results were not what we were hoping for. The oncologist examined the results in depth, looking at all the different scans of my brain. And when he finished, he told me that the cancer had reappeared.
He told me that I could do two more treatments with the current drug I have been taking to see if there would be any improvement. If not, then there would not be any further treatment available.
I had one treatment last Wednesday and will do another on January 9th. There will be another MRI scan on the 14th and we will get the results the next day, the 15th. Please join us in agreeing that the results will be positive. Amazingly, we are not discouraged and we feel strongly that we are not ready to give up! The doctors are great (it has been three and a half years since I started) but our confidence, our strength, our hope and our joy comes from God. God is the victor. His word is true and it is His report on which we stand. I will not die but live and declare the works of the Lord! Amen and Amen.
Rain
On a happier note, I wanted to let you know that we have had an amazing period of rain. It’s been several years since we have experienced a season of such extended times of stormy weather. The Sea of Galilee has been the lowest its been in recent history and we rejoice to see the levels begin to rise. There is still more rain in the forecast. Please pray that we will have a very wet January and February. And pray that this rain will be a sign that 2019 is going to be a year of abundant spiritual rain. That it will be a year of great breakthrough in every area of our lives as the Holy Spirit comes in great power.
Keep praying! God is on the move and we can not lose in Messiah Yeshua. May He pour blessings upon you and may we all go from victory to victory today and every day to come.
