Ariel’s brief teaching today is based on the story of the wisemen, who traveled from distant lands to worship the King who had been born and was now a young toddler. This inspiring story stands in stark contrast to the weeping and great mourning in Bethlehem as Herod, inflamed with jealously and hatred, gave orders to kill all the male babies aged 2 and under in order to protect his throne (Matthew 2:16-18).Â
The enemy always tries to thwart what God is doing. But, God’s plan prevailed then and will still prevail today. WATCH today as Ariel makes a connection between this story, the current war situation, and God’s promises to Israel from Jeremiah 31.
