Ahavat Yeshua

“Rabbi,” Nathanael answered, “You are the Son of God! You are the King of Israel!”
“Because I told you that I saw you under the fig tree, you believe?” Yeshua replied to him. “You will see greater things than that!” And He said, “Amen, amen I tell you, you will see heaven opened and the angels of God going up and coming down on the Son of Man!” (John 1:49-51)
When I look at a person, I see … a person. But when a doctor looks at a person, he sees skin, muscles, veins, and all kinds of bodily systems working together. And when God looks at a person, He sees every hair on their head, every gene in the genome, every part of their past and even into their future! Quite a difference!
Most of us see the natural around us and fail to see beyond. But it isn’t impossible or un-natural to see beyond; it’s just super-natural. Jacob went to sleep in the middle of nowhere and saw into the supernatural with angels ascending and descending and the Lord Himself standing at the top of the ladder. He woke up and said, “Undoubtedly, the Lord is in this place – and I was unaware.”
I think we can all identify with his thought… “I was unaware.” It’s so easy to look at the natural and miss the supernatural. It’s easy to become complacent. Sometimes, we even get scared by the natural. Just like Elisha’s servant who was freaking out about the army of horses and chariots surrounding the city. But Elisha responded:
“Fear not,” he replied, “for those who are with us are more than those who are with them.” Then Elisha prayed and said, “Lord, please open his eyes that he may see.” Then the Lord opened the eyes of the young man and he saw, and behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha.” (2 Kings 6:16-17)
So whether due to complacency or fear, we often fail to see into the spiritual realm. But it’s there – just beyond what our physical eyes, ears, and touch can discern. And you have the ability to see into it. You have the ability to hear the heavenly sounds, see the angels, and walk and talk with God … all day long.
So let’s bring Heaven to Earth today. Let’s be emissaries of the Kingdom … here!
