Shalom dear brothers and sisters in the Messiah Yeshua,
I want to share my heartfelt joy on the recent celebration of Shavuot (Pentecost)!
Shavuot is a beautiful holiday filled with the promise of harvest. The Scriptures provide us with the time frame for its observance. From the start of the harvest, just after Passover, we count 49 days; yet there's no exact date set for Shavuot. This uncertainty invites us into a posture of expectation and readiness.
Shavuot, also known as the Feast of First Fruits, beautifully aligns with the prophecy of the Early Rain; and it also leads us to anticipate the latter rains and the final harvest. This journey of expectation doesn’t end with Shavuot. It brings us closer to Sukkot/Tabernacles — a time of restoration, when we look forward to the Lord’s promises of replenishment for all that has been lost, impacted by “locusts, scorpions, and other pests.”
These promises are not mere words but profound truths we can hold onto with grateful hearts. I would like to share in pictures some of the recent fruits and experiences from our congregations, Shavei Zion and Netzer HaGalil. Please keep us in your prayers, for revival within Israel and a fresh outpouring of God’s power and protection as we enter into another trying season of war. May you experience abundant blessings and fulfillment in Yeshua the Messiah. With heartfelt love and appreciation, Leon.
