1. Israel is going through a hard time economically. Over 20% of the working population are out of work. Pray for wisdom for the government in reviving the economy and managing the corona virus.
2. The unity government coalition is under great strain. Benjamin Netanyahu is presenting reasons for changing his coalition agreement, especially the two-year budget. This could lead to elections. Many think his hope is to avoid his trial for corruption because a new government could pass laws precluding the indictment of a sitting Prime Minister. Pray that he sticks to the agreement for the sake of Israel’s stability.
3. There has been a breakthrough with the United Arab Emirates entering a peace treaty with Israel. Many are saying the other Arab nations will follow. This is part of the direction of Sunni Arab countries standing against Iran. Pray that this direction continues.
4. Pray for Israeli research to find more solutions to fight the corona virus.
5. It has been hard for Israel’s Messianic Congregations since we cannot meet in person. Pray for sustainable methods to stay together – small groups, Zoom calls, etc. Pray for financial supply for congregations and congregants. Many have lost work and are hurting.
6. Pray for Lebanon. The present upheaval in Lebanon is due to Hezbollah, the radical Shiite party. Though it is a real challenge for prayer, pray that Hezbollah be discredited and lose its power.
7. Sadly the U. N. security council did not accept extending arms sanctions on Iran. This is a terrible decision that affects Israel. Russia and China are playing a dirty game. Pray for the further weakening of the Iran radical movement, and for Israel and the United States to be able to continue to thwart their progress toward a nuclear bomb. Bombings in Iran and cyber attacks are working to some degree.
Thank you!
