Asher reflects on the dramatic events aboard FlyDubai Flight FZ1073 and the remarkable courage and intervention that prevented what could have been a terrible tragedy.
There is also a larger strategic prayer point we don’t want to miss.
This incident comes at a significant moment as Israel’s relationships with the UAE and Saudi Arabia continue to develop, and we have seen before how violence can threaten these growing relationships.
Whatever the investigation ultimately reveals, please pray that this event would not create fear and division, but instead strengthen these strategic relationships, deepen cooperation, and become another testimony of God bringing good out of what could have ended in tragedy.
We thank God that tragedy was prevented and so many lives were spared.
