We Are Heading Into the Greatest Conflict of All History…

Betty and I have returned to Israel after our sabbatical. We are excited to be back in the Land, and ready to face the many opportunities and challenges before us.

From the very first moment we were away, and all the time since then, I have felt a consistent and clear message from the Lord. It is quite sobering.

"The world is heading into the greatest conflict in all history, and the Church is not ready."

The Church is not ready, Israel is not ready, none of us are ready.

I don't perceive this to be a one-time teaching, but a foundational message for the season we live in.

It certainly means that there are difficult times before us. Going through difficult times does not necessarily mean that you are doing something wrong. The apostle Paul went through horrible tribulation but ended up transforming the entire Roman empire.

II Corinthians 1:4 NKJV

God… who comforts us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any trouble, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.

God is not looking to give us comfortable situations but to strengthen and encourage us on the inside so that we can stand in any circumstance. It may be a personal trial, or it may be a worldwide tribulation. God is with us and for us and in us.

The testimony of many of the Israeli hostages who were held underground by Hamas for two years was that they felt a divine presence around them that enabled them to survive the insane torment. Paul was also honest about the fact that he often felt personally stressed and pressed almost to the point of breaking.

II Corinthians 1:8 NKJV

We do not want you to be ignorant, brethren, of our trouble which came to us in Asia: that we were burdened beyond measure, above strength, so that we despaired even of life.

The source of all evil and hatred in the world is Satan's jealousy of Yeshua (Jesus). That evil comes to pass in demonically inspired hatred toward the Church (Yeshua's spiritual family), and toward Israel (Yeshua's physical family).

To a certain extent, we Messianic Jews in Israel and you Christians who stand with us around the world, are the target of double tribulation and attack. So, without knowing your personal situation, I am sure that you are standing against challenges financially, physically, relationally, or spiritually.

We are in this together. Be encouraged. Great breakthroughs are happening for the Kingdom of God every day in every dimension. Be strong. The victory is always with the Lord.

Ariel shared in a recent message that along with this double attack, there is also a double reward.  (Click Here)

Isaiah 61:7 NASB95

Instead of your shame you will have a double portion, And instead of humiliation they will shout for joy over their portion. Therefore they will possess a double portion in their land, everlasting joy will be theirs.

Notice that the prophetic promise speaks of "you" (plural) and "they". Those two groups are both of us. We are in this together. We share rewards. We share double rewards. Our rewards multiply as we serve together.

I will be honest with you, as Paul said. The wars here in the Middle East, the religious attacks, the political tensions, the dollar-shekel fluctuations, and personal stresses have seemed to make our situation unbearable. But we, like you, are more than overcomers.

Let me encourage you. Whatever you are doing to pray with us, partner with us financially, share the truths about Israel and the gospel of the kingdom – keep going. Don't give up. More than ever before, the Kingdom of God really is at hand.

We so appreciate your partnership with us in prayer, giving, and helping to spread the truth.

All our love in Yeshua,

Asher and Betty
