Shavei Tzyon | Return to Zion Congregation
Haifa, Israel
Dear brothers and sisters in Yeshua!
Peace to you from our Heavenly Father and many blessings to you and your loved ones. I want to say thank you for your prayers and financial support of Return to Zion Ministry.
Personal Update:

This autumn season was rather “turbulent” for Nina and me. By turbulent I mean event-ful; and honestly, we thank God that we were able to endure all of this.
Our younger son is a high-school senior and had his final solo concert. He is a violinist and the whole family was anxious for him as he practiced day and night for the big event.
Our daughter got married, and we organized the wedding and received guests from inside and outside Israel. It’s a big undertaking anywhere, but in Israel it takes an incredible amount of energy. Praise God everything went well – the wedding, the guests, and all the arrangements. I thank everyone who prayed for us.
Then our other daughter gave birth. There was a bit of tension as she was in the hospital for a while to be monitored during her pregnancy. Praise God for His mercy and help.
Shivat Tzion Exhibition:

Afterwards (all this was in October) a team from Texas arrived and helped us cover the congregation’s patio with a pergola. This sizable project will become a part of our “Shivat Tzion Exhibition” (Return to Zion Exhibition). This phrase “shivat Tzion” is associated with the return from the Babylonian Exile in the days of Zerubbabel, Ezra and Nehemiah. Our congregation has a similar name, since it also refers to the return from exile in our days.
The idea of the exhibition is to share the biblical story, prophecies and the realities of the region of Zebulon where we live. As for the purpose – we want to make an exhibition accessible for domestic Israeli tourism. It will open the door to proclaim God’s faithfulness in a tangible way. Israelis from around the country gladly travel to see the sites of Haifa with guides, and we hope to see them at our exhibition. To achieve this, it’s important to solve some additional administrative matters. So, I kindly ask you to pray for the Exhibition Project. If anyone feels led to financially support this this project – you are more than welcome!
Congregational Update:

Return to Zion Congregation also had an “event-ful” season with all the Biblical Feast Days and the hostages’ release two years after that terrible Simchat Torah of October 7th.
Now we’re getting back to the routine of home groups and Alef-club, the School of Music and Arts and work with new immigrants as well as humanitarian aid to needy people. It’s a routine that shapes our lives.
As the Scriptures say in Philippians 3:12-14: “Not that I have already obtained all this, or have already arrived at my goal, but I press on to take hold of that for which Yeshua Messiah took hold of me. Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Yeshua Messiah”.
