Now Is the Time to Pray:
Real-Time Faith in the Midst of War
As missiles are launched and tensions escalate between Israel and Iran, we are witnessing not just a geopolitical conflict—but a spiritual moment of urgency. Many of you around the world have been faithfully receiving our immediate prayer alerts and daily war updates. You’ve responded not with fear, but with faith. I want to remind you: your prayers are not in vain. They are powerful. They are timely. They are moving things—on earth as it is in heaven. Throughout Scripture, we see that in moments of great danger, God called His people to pray—and He responded.
Think of Jericho. The strategy God gave was illogical in the eyes of men: march silently for days and then shout. But the walls fell not by force—but by obedience, unity, and worshipful faith. God honored a people who dared to do the unthinkable and trust His unseen power. Think of Gideon. Vastly outnumbered, ill-equipped, and humanly outmatched, yet by divine strategy and unwavering trust, a few hundred men routed a great enemy. What mattered was not strength in numbers—but the presence of the Lord among them. Think of Peter, imprisoned and facing death. The early believers didn’t mobilize armies or petitions—they prayed. And their prayers opened prison doors. Peter walked free because the Church dared to believe that prayer could break chains.
Friends, we are again in such a time. The battle is fierce, and the stakes are high—but so is the invitation to believe that God still moves when His people pray. When you pray for Israel to be shielded and led by the wisdom of God, and for Iran to be delivered from the stronghold of the Islamic regime, you are striking the enemy’s plans at their root. The fall of Iran’s influence can trigger a domino effect—shaking the foundations of terror in Gaza and accelerating the path to regional peace. This is a moment for bold prayer and unshakable faith. You are not watching history—you’re shaping it.

Let us not grow weary. Let us not give in to helplessness. Let us stand as watchmen on the walls, trusting that the God who answered in Jericho, with Gideon, and for Peter—will answer again.
Your prayers matter. Keep praying.
They are moving things—on earth as it is in heaven.
With faith,
Jeremiah Smilovici 🤍
